The Kentaur 'Grand Prix' Girth with Sheepskin is a simple and elegant leather dressage girth with sheepskin lining, suited to horses with a larger girth groove. It is slightly shaped around the horse’s front legs to enable greater freedom of movement through the shoulder and elbow. Both elegant and functional, the sheepskin is perfect for horses who are prone to rubbing under or for those sensitive to the girth being done up. It has elastic girth buckles on both sides and a D ring under the belly for easy attachment of training aids if required. The removable, medicated sheepskin liner is machine washable making it easy to maintain.
Comes in sizes 40cm - 80cm, and available in Black, Dark Brown and Tobacco.
Separate sheepskin inserts can be purchased for this girth.

I love my Kentaur Grand Prix Dressage girth. I love the look and flexibly to easily swap out the sheep skin liner for the leather liner. It’s a beautiful girth made with quality materials and really puts the finishing touch on my dressage saddle. Most importantly is my horse is comfortable in it. Money well spent.

The problem: Clipped, sensitive skinned dressage Stock Horse experiencing girth rubs and starting to get agitated by the girthing up process.
The solution: A Kentaur 'Grand Prix' Girth with Sheepskin. I had been umming and ahhing about buying a girth and doing research into which brand. The reason I chose a Kentaur girth was the ability to switch between the sheepskin and leather liner, I like the style and they were made of a high quality leather. The girth is fantastic my horse doesn't move a muscle whilst the girth is being done up, his hair has stopped being rubbed off and is starting to grow back and he just seems happier and more willing. I recommend this girth a hundred times over, its changed my horse quality of life.
